Digital Printing / Virtual Inventory

Everyone seems to be using digital printing these days, but we believe that companies are not tapping into the true potential that digital printing can bring to a project or particular client.

Promoworks works with all of the current technology from small to large format. We are using digital printing for a number of clients to help them micro - market the p.o.p. materials once the major print run is completed. This could be a die cut 4 color sticker or a custom sell sheet. The benefits are substantial. Virtual Inventory refers to print programs that have constant changes to their printed pieces.

The Promoworks virtual inventory program uses digital print technology to produce just what they need for an event or meeting, thus eliminating small quantity sheet fed print runs. The files are stored digitally in a specialized organized system that allows quick access. The quality of the digital today is almost equal to sheet fed print. Virtual Inventory systems are perfect for the consumer service, banking, insurance and health care industry. The cost benefits over existing systems can be substantial.

Case Study

Objective - A beverage company wanted to produce a set of 4 different promotions. These promotions would consist of a pole topper, a case header, base wrap, and a take one pad. The client wanted to have the sales force send in their orders for each of their markets with retail chains. We needed to customize the base printed p.o.p. materials and take one pads.

Solution - Promoworks suggested that they produce a base run in combo of the pole toppers and case headers. We would then set up a special order form or dedicated web site that the field sales reps could go to place their customer orders. We would then take care of the complete type set up, logo placement and approvals. The pole toppers and case headers were then customized with a die cut 4-color sticker describing the offer and showcasing the retailer logo. The tear pads were set up and run digitally since the quantities were sometimes 100 pads. The retailers were very excited and this activity gave the beverage company more clout at this retailer and many other retailers around the country.
